Under Secretary Sara Martinez Tucker will discuss the pressing need for improving the accessibility, affordability, and accountability of America's colleges and universities. The Under Secretary will also share a summary of topics discussed and recommendations developed at the March 2007 national summit on higher education. Tucker will review the goals for the day, focusing on how to establish clear ownership for specific actions and share promising practices already underway. |

During each of the day’s work group sessions, participants will discuss and identify promising practices related to one of the following three topics: accessibility, affordability, and accountability.
