Below are the session offerings for the fall 2006 Federal Student Aid Conferences. U.S. Department of Education, Acting Under Secretary and Chief of Staff to the U.S. Secretary of Education, David Dunn, addressed participants in Orlando on October 30. U.S. Department of Education Secretary, Margaret Spellings, addressed participants in Las Vegas on November 28.
In addition to the regular sessions, this year's program also included sessions for beginners new to the financial aid office, technical sessions, sessions specifically for Direct Loan Schools, and a special track for Guaranty Agencies and Lenders. Pre Conference activities included a workshop for QA Schools and a Software Developers Conference.
